This DIY Ramadan Decoration: Ramadan Lampshade is so simple. I mean, fold tape, stick it on the stars and then put on the lampshade easy!
Basically, you’re going to upgrade any lampshade in your house to make it look more festive. If you don’t like any of your lampshades, think about painting one. It’s easy! Here’s my blog post on how to paint a lampshade.
And because I had chipboard stars leftover from my Mubarak garland, this was basically free! PS…the Mubarak and stars garland will be out next week.

Let’s get into it. Firstly, you’ll need a lampshade. A basic lampshade works best, but whatever lamp you want to decorate in your house will do. Here’s my thrifted lamp below…
Next up you’ll need your supplies: some chipboard stars and basic scotch tape. I used eleven silver stars from the pack. Again, the gold and white ones will be used in a DIY garland next week.
First things first, you’ll need to fold the tape into a circle for each star, with the tape facing outwards, so the entire ring is sticky.
Place one piece of ring tape onto each star’s back.
Lastly, place the stars all over the lampshade in whatever pattern you’d like! Well that was easy!
Hello easy, festive, DIY Ramadan star lampshade. Kids particularly love this cute DIY Ramadan decoration.
