Honestly, I really like these Ramadan DIY place cards. They’re a colorful and simple Ramadan craft, perfect for your Ramadan or Eid table setting.
I decided to make it colorful and fun to really ring in the Ramadan season. That’s why I went with different colors for each place setting.
But these are crazy customizable. You could totally stick with one color or a couple, depending on what your Ramadan tablescape looks like. Even make them into stars, moon – I think you get my point.

Let’s talk about the supplies: a Ramadan-themed cookie cutter, card stock paper, glitter card stock paper, scissors, pencil, glue stick and a sharpie.
Start out with two pieces of paper: one solid and one glitter. Let’s say you’re doing the green set. Trace the lantern cookie cutter onto the plain green paper. Cut out.
Then put the green cut-out onto the glitter paper’s back and trace it out. Trace only half way up, to about where the pencil is.
Cut out the glitter paper and cut that in half.
Now glue the back of the glitter paper and put it onto the green plain paper.
How cute! Now you can just keep these place cards plain, or write names on them.
Here’s the table without names written on the place cards.
Now if you want to write names, do so just above the glitter portion.
Here is it on a place setting.
Repeat with each color and you’re ready for your Ramadan iftar.
